ambedkar jayanti or bhim jayanti is on annual festival observed on 14 april to commemorate the memory of B.R. Ambedkar, Indian polymath and civil rights activist . It marks Dr. Babashaheb Ambedkar's birthday who was born on 14 April 1891,
it is related to : Ashok Vijay Dashmi ; Constitution Day (India)

So long as you do not achieve social liberty , whatever freedom is provided by the law is of no avail to you . let us honour the hard work and sacrifices of the man who gave Indian its constitution ........ let us honour Babasaheb and wish them on Ambedkar Jayanti .

His reputation as a scholar led to his appointment as 

free India's first law minister , and chairman of the committes for drafting the constitution .

He. passionately belived in individual freedom and criticised caste society.

living chiefly in Maharashtra state . they mostly speak marathi  , the official language of maharastra.

Dr. Ambedkar was a freedom fighter of the truest kind. not merely dreaming of setting India force from british rule , but of transforming india into a country where freedom holds meaning for everyone . he dedicated his life for uplifting of the dalits.

He used to be treated very badly .  although he used to go to the school but was tend to sit alone and was not allowed to mingle with other students of high caste .So , their family was also facing many problems due to this caste system so, B.R. Ambedkar started some campaigns to fight against the caste system .

the 1950 national constitution of india legally abolished the practice of untouchability and provided measures for affirmative action in both educational institutions and public services for Dalits and other social groups who lie within the caste system .

He adopted various means to safeguard dalit rights . ambedkar launched a movement against dalit discrimination by creating public opinion through his writings in several periodicals such as mook nayak , vahishkrit bharat , and Equality janta,  which he started for the protection of dalit rights .

ambedkar was  a political liberal who believed in the values of liberty , equality and fraternity . but he also warned that political democracy would be at risk if the underlying society remains enequal or if Indians did not embrace what he described as constitutional morality.

mhow, officially Dr. Ambedkar Nagar , is a cantonment in the indore district in madhya pradesh state of india. it is located 23 kilometres south-west of indore city, towards mumbai on the old mumbai-agra road. The town was renamed as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar in 2003 . by the Government of madhya pradesh .

the objective of the temple entry movement led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was to expose the caste prejudices that existed within indian society when dalits used water from the temple tank .brahman priests were outraged.
